I felt that Wall's book took a more Jimmy Page-centric view of the band (I believe that some sources told me that he and Jimmy were pretty tight back in London but I could be mistaken), but he still talks more or less objectively about John Paul Jones, Robert Plant and the late great John Bonham. The Mick Wall biography on the other hand, does mention some of the shameless and shameful behaviour of the band but also talks at length about the backgrounds and stories of the individual musicians that made the group and the unwinding of the binds that ended in the tragic death of Bonzo and the dissolution of Led Zeppelin.
